What clothing item do you wish could be banned?
Submitted by Mike E.
So i find this HILAROUS because it's been about a month since i've looked at the QotD from Vox. Why? Because the questions got stupid
But lo and behold... THE PERFECT question to kick off my Vox postings...
It's not so much that it's the item that should be banned.... it's the WAY it's worn. I cannot stress how RE-TARD-ED it is for guys to wear polo shirts with their collars popped. I can't stand it. I feel like i want to walk up to the person doing this and slap the snot out of them. And then to make it worse, some wear TWO polos... with BOTH collars popped. You call this style? I say utter stupidity.
Who in their right mind woke up one day and decided this was cool?
What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
I have lots of favorites.... but the #1 spot goes to Rainbow Sherbet.
Other favorites include: Coconut Pineapple, Pistachio, Black Cherry,
Orange Sherbet, Strawberry (these are all Thrifty/Rite-Aid flavors.)
If money were no object, which five luxury items would you rush right out and buy?
Submitted by lorilyn.

2.) Porsche 911 GT3 in white
3.) Mansion in Irvine
4.) Mansion in Arcadia
5.) And a Toyota Prius ( i need a beater )
If you could eat anything you wanted, and not have to worry about gaining weight/being unhealthy/inhumane, what would you totally pig out on?

College. 1998. Chemistry, Pre-Calc, and Writing. 1.43 quarter GPA. Academic Probation.
Man. Did i hit a low point in my life. Up until that point, I pretty much breezed through my academic career as a slightly better than average student (3.7ish GPA). So after an F, B-, and C- (respectively) in those classes, all i did was study my ass off.
It's a good thing i did since i was able to graduate college with a 3.65. A HUGE jump. I guess if i knew in highschool that if i studied just a TAD bit harder... it would've been easy to get straight A's. Ah well. Hope i can teach that to my kids one day.
Oh... i guess the answer to the question: If i didn't kick it into gear... i probably wouldn't be where i am today. Not that it's a GREAT place in life... but it's not too shabby.
What's your suggestion for the Question of the Day?
Inspired by Princesskasren.
OMG... wtf kinda dumb@ss question is this? If i had a good suggestion... i'd have already submitted it.
Seriously... go back to THIS POST because it needs to be revisited.
EDIT: Ok... so even the AUTHOR of this QofD
thinks her own question is lame. So now i'll redirect my venting
at VOX. WTF VOX??? Do you not screen these questions?
Do you not get paid enough from ads? Is it too much work for you
to click a mouse a few times to weed out the bad questions?
Geez.
What are the 10 most memorable music performances you've seen? (Remember, "memorable" may not be good.)
Submitted by Bill.
I've only been to two live concerts performed by famous artists: Michelle Branch and Rascal Flatts.
Michelle branch was more "memorable" just because i love her and her music. Been a fan since she debuted.
Rascal Flatts was "memorable" because i'm not much of a country music kind of guy, but during the concert, a guy and a girl were arguing and the girl started swinging. Then her boyfriend got in on it and the fight got broken up before anyone got hurt. That was definately interesting. Usually you hear about things like this at rap concerts... but COUNTRY? Wow... hillbillies in da hizzzouse!
What's the last compliment you gave and/or received?
Submitted by MalieKai.
I let my finacée know that she's beautiful. She also told me that i was good-looking.... ofcourse this was after complimenting on how a chef in the LA Times that she thought was cute :p
In your ultimate dream house, what does your favorite room look like?
I wouldn't call it a room... more like my "toy box". It'd be a 20-car garage with all my favorite cars, ranging from Lamborghini and Porsche to my two current cars. Ofcourse this is provided my "ultimate dream house" comes with the winning numbers to a mega millions jackpot...

I agree absolutely! It was bad in the 80s when they wore polos with collars up with loafers without socks.... read more
